Who we are
The Site is operated by RigThis (“we,” “us”) to share information about the RigThis product and to collect interest for a launch waitlist. This notice applies only to the Site, not to mobile apps or other services unless we say otherwise.
Cookies and consent
We show a banner on your first visit (and you can reopen it anytime via Cookie settings in the footer). Analytics are optional: we only load Simple Analytics if you click Accept. If you choose Reject non-essential, we do not load that script. Your choice is saved in your browser using localStorage (not a marketing cookie) so we do not have to ask on every page load. Waitlist email is separate: you only share your email if you submit the form.
What we collect and why
Waitlist email (Formspree)
If you submit the “Stay on the list” form, we collect the email address you enter so we can send launch updates, beta information, and related messages about RigThis. We may also receive technical data needed to deliver the form (for example, timestamps or metadata that Formspree attaches to submissions).
Form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form backend. Formspree hosts the submission endpoint and delivers messages to us. Their handling of personal data is described in their privacy policy.
Site usage (Simple Analytics)
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Simple Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the Site (for example, page views and general referrer information). If you do not accept, this script is not loaded and we do not use Simple Analytics on that visit. Simple Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use advertising cookies or build cross-site profiles of individual visitors in the way many ad networks do. Spam protection
The waitlist form may include a hidden field used to detect automated submissions. You should leave that field empty; it is not used to profile you.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
Where regulations require a “legal basis,” we rely on your consent when you accept analytics in the cookie banner (for Simple Analytics), and on your consent when you submit the waitlist form (for your email processed via Formspree).
Retention
We keep waitlist contact information only as long as needed to send the updates you signed up for and to operate the launch, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained according to Simple Analytics’ practices.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help run the Site (currently Formspree and Simple Analytics as described above), or when required by law.
Your choices
- Waitlist: You can stop receiving launch emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages, or by contacting us at the address below.
- Access, correction, deletion: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Contact us and we will respond in line with applicable law.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International transfers
Formspree and Simple Analytics may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) offered by those providers.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated notice.
